Collagen is in our bodies and connective tissue. It also makes up 80% of the skin our bodies, Collagen makes skin have that bouncy feeling and as we get older, skin begins to get more dry and thin. Hence it needs something extra to make skin look and feel healthy and bright. Women who are going through menopause find it effects their skin greatly. Collagen requires oestrogen that is reduced during the menopause. There are other supplements on the market that you swallow but the stomach can break down the collagen and not produce it to the skin in the areas that it need it the most.

   L’Oréal have gifted me countless skincare products over the years. You can see from my previous review, their Revitalift Range is popular. I've recommended them to friends and family who have noticed a difference its made to their skin.


This Revitalift range contains Hyaluronic Acid that helps plump up the skin. The face wash retails around £7.99. This is my favourite face wash to use because it works at cleansing my skin and leaving it in good condition. These help the skin feel and look in great condition.

L’Oréal have made a breakthrough product by making pure Collagen Ampoules. There is no doubt that the above products feel great on my skin. However when they sent me the Collagen Ampoules it was unlike anything i've tried before. I was intrigued by a weeks worth of ampoules to take. Would these make a difference? I took one ampoule out and snapped off the top. The collagen felt like a serum and I applied to my face and neck. This made an instant difference, My neck had been feeling dry and the first ampoule made it instantly smoother. I was unsure if this was a premature thought so I continued the usage for the week. This product blew my mind. I had to tell every woman I knew because it genuinely made a difference.






This product is highly effective from first use. Once the weeks worth of collagen finished, my skin felt like new. The results are instant and I can see why collagen is important! I would rather use something directly on my skin, than use something i would eat in the hope it would make my skin better. Pure Collagen ampoules are instantly hydrating, just taking a week of them - they have made a massive difference, I highly recommend others to buy them. At 43 I am noticing that taking care of my skin before problems arise, is helpful. So Collagen does make a massive difference in protecting the skin when applied directly to it.
