FIFE I moved back to Fife into my friend Lana's house that she was moving out from. It was a large home and had a beautiful garden. It was perfect for Julia to start school. Things were calm and I started working for SKY. I was on 10am until 10pm shift Saturday to Monday. It was great money and I got a pay rise within the first year. It meant I got full time wage but had most of the week off to spend with Julia. This was the start of a better life in a better place. The home was also occupied by the largest spiders I’ve ever seen. Lana did warn me, but I was just grateful I had a lovely roof over our heads. Julia was loving primary school. Things went quiet for a year. Normality returned, and I was grateful. One night I was on the phone to a friend in my bedroom, catching up.
